Hang around Masubuchi Village

Be an Etranger in an ordinary Japanese village

Hang around in Masubuchi village

Walk through a village that witnessed centuries of human lives.
People struggling to build a place to live in and make fields to cultivate for food.
Rich and happy people with horses who helped them for transport woods or charcoal.
People crying over famine…

You will find the only barbershop of the village, some used-to-be shops, a house where Oijin was born,  Kesokuji temple, Masubuchi River, etc.

It is an ordinary village with an ordinary life, in a hilly area of Yonekawa.
